Focus area:
eMobility

Alternative drives are one of the top topics in the automotive industry and there are still many challenges on the road to electromobility. We have been dealing with all aspects of electromobility for years. For our customers in the automotive sector, we take on projects such as

  • Development and validation of electric drives
  • Development and validation of high-voltage systems
  • Development and validation of charging functions

We also provide eMobility solutions for customers outside the automotive industry.

Focus area:
Model-based systems engineering (MBSE)

With the development of sophisticated functions such as eMobility and autonomous driving, vehicles have become increasingly complex. In order to master this complexity in the development phase, many manufacturers are switching to the Model-Based Systems Engineering approach.

MBSE is an end-to-end process that encompasses all development and validation steps and enables efficient collaboration between all stakeholders. As a result, the traceability of all development steps in accordance with standards can be guaranteed, for example with regard to standards such as ISO26262.

Our MBSE team of experts has been dealing with model-based development for years and successfully applies these methods for customers in the rail transport sector, for example. We also bring this knowledge to the automotive sector with our consulting and implementation services:

  • Design of customer- and project-specific modelling concepts
  • Training and support in the areas of MBSE, SysML, modelling methods and modelling tools
  • Methodical support for standard-compliant development processes
  • Model-based functional safety concepts
  • Model-based definition of functional, logical or technical architectures

Focus area:
Autonomous driving

We accompany all manufacturers and suppliers in the development of autonomous vehicles. Thanks to our involvement in research projects and cooperation with universities, we offer our customers access to expert knowledge and the latest research results. Some of our key competencies are in the area of high-precision maps, simulation and virtualization or data analysis and big data:

  • Concepts and feasibility studies
  • Rapid Prototypeing
  • Functional Safety
  • Implementation
  • Test and Validation

Focus area:
Virtual testing

Even today, a vehicle contains around 100 million lines of code - twice as much as a current computer OS. And new complex functions continue to increase this amount of code.

Consequently, a considerably greater amount of testing is required to validate complex driving functions. Virtualization and simulation make this possible. As experts for systems integration and validation, we support our customers in the early development phase. For example by virtualizing tests, test automation or innovative validation strategies.
