The South Korean Government has set the goal of strengthening small and medium-sized companies in South Korea. The model for this is the German “Hidden Champions”: Medium-sized companies which are world leaders in their sectors.
The Minister of Finance in Seoul has thus launched a cooperation with German companies – the goal is to allow regional companies in South Korea to profit from a business-coaching project using the model of internationally successful German companies. In addition, the initiative wants to work toward a collaboration with German companies, e.g. in the North Korean special economic zone.
As part of a visit to the German “Hidden Champions” a high-level delegation of the South Korean Ministry of Finance was also at in-tech on-site. During talks in cooperation with the Hanns-Seidel-Stiftung, the visitors discussed cooperation possibilities and international collaboration with Managing Director Christian.
