Software company presents mobile healthcare information system for the Goslar district

Health to go: in-tech in cooperation with the district of Goslar and Clausthal Technical University developed a healthcare app at the beginning of the year. The user can select the corresponding body part by means of a graphic representation of the entire body. Then a list of medical specialists and healthcare services is displayed. Thus, the user receives all relevant information and the address of the practice is transferred directly to the smartphone, which can then be used for navigation. in-tech is presenting this solution at the joint exhibition stand of the Lower Saxony Ministry for Science and Culture at CeBIT in hall 6, exhibition stand A18.

“Our personalized healthcare app is intuitive to use and facilitates access to healthcare services – also for people who do not know German,” says Dr. Lutz Kelch, Site Manager Braunschweig/Wolfsburg at in-tech.

The project was initiated as part of the “Health Region Goslar” campaign that launched a website providing an overview of doctors and healthcare services in the region. The engineering firm in-tech is responsible for the design and the complete implementation of the corresponding app. Providing the user with fast and uncomplicated mobile access to the overview is the intent. In cooperation with Clausthal Technical University, the district of Goslar is entering doctors, specializations and healthcare topics into a database, with the contents being delivered to the app.

The iOS-compatible app is intuitive to use via a visual representation of the human body and organs on several levels. Users can obtain information about healthcare services and doctors in the immediate vicinity according to body regions. Individual healthcare plans can be created and tracked by personalizing the app with the user’s gender and age, creating an added incentive to use healthcare services.

in-tech is introducing the app to visitors at CeBIT in hall 6, exhibition stand A18. The company is also presenting its business activities in the field of app and software development here. Often there is highly sophisticated software behind an app icon, controlling the access to technical systems. Security, performance, usability and reliability are key for solutions in this demanding environment. Aside from app development, in-tech is also proficient in the required infrastructure. This ranges from communication with sensors and complex back-end systems to secure data transfers. A reliable solution with a convincing operating concept and an appealing design is the end result.
