What do you do when you're not at in-tech?
I'm
currently studying electrical engineering at Augsburg University of
Applied Sciences in my 6th semester. In my spare time, I'm active in the
Formula Student team there as well as doing a lot of sports.
In which area are you doing your internship?
My
internship is about testing and analyzing vehicle electronics. My team
and I are responsible for the entire measurement technology in the car.
What are the daily tasks in your internship?
At
the moment, I'm mainly responsible for validating the data loggers
after a new update to one of the vehicle models. But of course there are
always other interesting tasks to support the whole team in the best
possible way. Whether flashing control units, assembling cables or
restructuring our warehouse management - there is definitely plenty of
variety.
What was your coolest experience with in-tech outside the workplace?
In the first week of my internship we had a big staff meeting at our
headquarters in Garching. That was really interesting because we learned
a lot about general news and goals of in-tech. But the catering was
particularly cool: Lots and lots of donuts in all imaginable variations,
delicious! It was also super cool to meet some colleagues from the
Formula Student team who are now working at in-tech.
What will you remember in particular?
The events and
goodies at in-tech are really unique! Thanks to the event budget, which
is made available to each team on a monthly basis, everyone can
participate in cool team events and the daily work is sweetened with
KOKS (coffee, fruit, cookies, sweets).
What advice will you give your successor?
Let me put it this way: in-tech is the ideal employer for technology
enthusiasts and car enthusiasts! At the latest after the internship,
it's clear to everyone: the car is much more than just a means of
transport.
Describe in-tech in three words:
Orange - innovative - spirit
